Most assignments for traveling nurses with Power Personnel are 13 weeks long. Although some assignments are as short as 4 and 8 weeks or as long as 26 weeks. In addition, we offer positions that are temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire.
You will be responsible for tax deductions and workers’ compensation. You must have the required documents to verify your independent contractor’s status.
Because we have so many assignments available, traveling with a friend is no problem. Power Personnel has many travel partners who travel together and work at the same facility or different facilities in the same city.

The timetable depends on you and how quickly YOU want to move forward. If you have all the required documentation at your fingertips, we can begin reviewing assignments with you immediately upon our receipt of your application. Depending on where you choose to go, you could begin work within a few days or a few weeks. Some of our nurses even set up assignments 3 to 4 months in advance.

Absolutely! In fact, more healthcare professionals come to Power Personnel through referral from their friends and co-workers than from any other source. Our program provides you with an easy way of making referrals and earning $400 for RNs and $250 for LVNs and $100 for CNAs
We do not cover moving costs; however, we do reimburse you for your travel from your permanent residence to your Power Personnel assignment. Most travel reimbursement is contract specific however we do reimburse at $.48 per mile for your own automobile, airplane or ????

Yes, you may add dependents to our group plan. You simply complete the enrollment paperwork and pay the monthly premium.
