Diversity is engrained in every part of our business. We believe a diverse and well-represented workforce is ethical, valuable to the economy, and consistently delivers optimal performance. Our commitment to DEI extends to how we interact with our clients, candidates, internal employees, and the community.
This influence has led to Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) naming Power Personnel to their list of 2022 Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms and honoring CEO Rickey Green as a diversity influencer.
COVID-19 Response
Power Personnel helped Alameda County mitigate the impact of COVID-19 by providing resources to support the community. The virus disproportionately impacted people of color, immigrants, and the elderly. We are proud that our experience and capabilities enabled us to place highly skilled and diverse clinical staff to contribute when needed most and lessen the impact on local emergency rooms.
Our Contribution Included:
- Working with the department of public health on isolation hotels for the homeless.
- Recruiting front-line medical workers such as RNs and LPNs for patient care.
- Per diem staffing support to fill variable shifts during days, nights and weekends.
- Providing a diverse, compassionate workforce that mirrored the community.
- Training contact tracers to help control the spread of the coronavirus.
- Providing nurses to administer coronavirus vaccines.
